Becky is a British Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Clinical Cancer Rehabilitation Specialist with over 24 years experience in her field. She as written and developed education courses on chronic disease prevention and created Project Move for primary schools. She is a keen traveller, marathon runner and mother of three who understands the powerful effect of movement on the body and mind and how human behaviour can be influenced to achieve significant improvements in health.
Stephanie is a registered Kinesiologist, graduating from Concordia University with a B.Sc in Exercise Science; Clinical Exercise Physiology. She works at the Cummings centre, specialising in stroke and Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation. She enjoys working with seniors living with a chronic disease and brightens their day with her energy while helping them to accomplish their physical goals. Stephanie is the project lead on the eXpand education courses for exercise professionals and works closely with the team at Respiplus. She loves coordinating Corporate Wellness Weeks offered by OneLife Health as she is passionate about the prevention of sedentary behaviour in the workplace!
Emily is a Concordia graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Exercise Science program with a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology. She has a great passion for working with oncology patients and volunteers at the Jewish General Hospital’s Hope & Cope Wellness Center. She also has experience with fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and general health education/prevention of chronic disease. She is a certified Zumba Kids + Zumba Jr instructor as well as a certified Massage Therapist. Emily is the lead kinesiologist for OLH’s Project Move for schools. She is also a talented musician and loves to road bike and play softball.
Chelsea is a CSEP certified personal trainer and registered kinesiologist. She is a Master’s candidate at Concordia University in the department of Health, Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, where her thesis focuses on determining the pathological underpinnings of cardiac hypertrophy. Chelsea loves promoting healthy habits and is an advocate of reducing sedentary behaviour through activity!
Amina is a certified kinesiologist and exercise physiologist. She specialized in cancer and lower back rehabilitation and has volunteered many hours for the Jewish General Hospital’s Hope and Cope cancer rehabilitation centre. She has run several community classes for over 50s, including boot camp, strength & tone and aerobics. She also enjoys teaching Zumba classes and working with children in schools during Project Move.
